John Marshall has been reappointed Vice-Principal of University College for a three-year term starting July 1, 2017. An Associate Professor in the Department and Centre for the Study of Religion, he is an expert in the history of early Christianity.
He has served as Vice-Principal of University College since 2012, presiding over academic and curricular matters for UC’s interdisciplinary undergraduate programs, as well as coordinating the College's foundation program, UC One: Engaging Toronto.
"It's a pleasure to work with the people of University College. Students, staff, and faculty have a rich community that I'm honoured to be part of and to serve," he said. "I'm excited to participate in the next stage of UC's architectural renewal and to contribute to building the College's programming to take advantage of our renewed space."
